I am not looking for a free hand out
Just a chance to fix my mistakes
I look at myself in the mirror oh how my heart breaks
I have made some poor decisions
But on that note who hasn’t?
I am living paycheck to paycheck
Some would say my life is a train wreck
I just want to make things right
Can’t you see my potential?
I’m a diamond in the rough
I want to be happy but do I want it enough?
How do I fix what’s already been done
Is there another way?
