Dear Kitty. Some blog

This video is called Salmo trutta fario. Brown trouts in a small stream.

Vroege Vogels TV in the Netherlands has good news about the Geul river in Limburg province. This is the only pebble river in the Netherlands; other rivers there have sandy soils.

Pebble rivers have different water plants and animals than sandy rivers. However, in the 1960s the freshwater morph of the brown trout became extinct in the Geul, probably because of water pollution.

Now, this fish species has come back to the river. They are spawning again.
