In the world of herbs, agrimony tea is a great remedy for diarrhea and gastro-intestinal problems. It stimulates the production of bile and gastric juice, and is used in the treatment of chronic cholecystitis — gallbladder inflammation. Once the tea has cooled, gargle with it as a remedy for sore throat and pharyngitis.

Agrimony is most famous for its use as a wound remedy with anti-inflammatory and diuretic properties. It helps blood to coagulate and also inhibits bacterial and viral infections. The tannin content is responsible for alleviating pain. In the past, it has been used as a soldier’s remedy.
