Will not stop our us marching at San Francisco Pride 2014

SAN FRANCISCO – MAY 31, 2014 – Melanie Nathan, a San Francisco Pride Community Grand Marshal,  has started a campaign to bring approximately 20 LGBTI people to march with her, in the San Francisco Pride Parade, 2014.  The invited guests are from Uganda, The Gambia, Angola, South Africa, Cameroon, Namibia and Nigeria.

For future reference in this article: 1) Take note of the large dormer on the right front of the house, where it meets the roof above the bay window; & 2) Notice on the “porch” roof, left side of house, the window-well cut into the roof-line under the window. The Weekend Is Coming!

Y’all will be seeing the routine of me promoting one of my favorite features here @ The Sting Of The Scorpion, we like to call it “The Magic Weekend”. If you are asking what The Magic Weekend is all about then just keep reading. Silently every Monday morning since I can remember I have played a game in my head while listening to all the stories the people are talking about around me. Typically all the stories fall into one or more of the following five categories of “Sex, Jail, Money, Blood, or Fame”. On a good Monday morning a story hits all five categories. I personally think it’s all bullshit unless you have pictures to back it up. A picture is worth a thousand words……..right? Which leads me to ask what kind of weekend everyone had? Sex, Jail, Money, Blood, or Fame

Shinseki is, to put it bluntly, toast

The White House offered tepid support Thursday for embattled Veterans Affairs Secretary Eric Shinseki, skirting questions on whether he’ll soon be fired.

White House press secretary Jay Carney repeatedly sidestepped questions about whether Shinseki retained the confidence of the president.

Carney said the president believed Shinseki had “performed overall well” and “put his heart and soul” into providing care for veterans. But he also emphasized that the president was waiting to see the results of an internal investigation led by White House deputy chief of staff Rob Nabors.
“When it comes to the current situation, the inquiries and the investigations and some of the allegations, the president wants to see the results of these reports,” Carney said. “And he, as you know, made clear that he believes there ought to be accountability once we establish all the facts.”

The White House knew…

Thin Line

Thin line

-

Sometimes

I am stuck

Oh, it’s just my luck

Between good and evil

It will be fine

-

Most of my days

I am wandering

Stumbling

Between dark and light

Which wings are mine?

-

Some days

I am caught

Oh, how I fought

Between right and wrong

What a strange design

-

On my darkest days

I am struggling

Hovering

Between sane and insane

It’s a very thin line…

Help My Family Now

July 30th, 2012

“Act as if you were already happy, and that will tend to make you happy.” Dale Carnegie

My family and I are SO close to being able to take care of ourselves, and we desperately need just a little more help to make it to that goal.  My wife begins paid training for her new job next week, and I have work lined up for later in the month.  I am so extremely grateful to everyone that has helped my daughter, my wife and I so far and given us your prayers, support and advice.  We’re still at a hotel, trying to hang on and keep our family together until we both get paid.  We are still very financially unstable though, and we’re still looking for any employment and/or help we can find.  We are still in dire need of immediate financial help, to…
